About Me

Heidi Louise is a qualified psychotherapist, an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW), and a Level 3 Gottman Couples therapist.

Heidi grew up on the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane has been home for her and her family for the past 15 years. Heidi understands the complexities of family life, parenting and relationships. Heidi enjoys painting, dancing, walking/hiking and travelling; she also enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Heidi brings a wealth of experience 12+ years into her private practice with a background of working in Indigenous Communities, and Multicultural Development Organisations supporting those seeking Refugee status and Asylum Seekers, NSW Mental Health, Beyond Blue, and 1800Respect. Heidi is trained in Internal Family Systems and is also a qualified Circle of Security (COS) Parenting Facilitator.

Heidi believes healing occurs in connection, suffering is universal but it does not have to be done in isolation. Heidi is a warm and authentic therapist who works collaboratively and holistically to support each individual with a personalised approach according to their needs and goals.
